FAQ

What is the turnaround time on custom picture framing orders?
Most framing is ready for pick up in one to two weeks. Choices made from in stock materials can reduce that timing. Rush service is available if needed.

What am I able to get framed?
We will attempt to frame anything that can fit in & out of the front door of our shop. A large portion of framing is artwork on paper, board, canvas, and diplomas. Photography, documents, needlework, sport jerseys, and all types of memorabilia are popular items to be framed. Dimensional objects can be displayed in a shadowbox frame. We also sell and design frames for mirrors.

What kind of glazing should I use?
We sell all glazing (glass) types available in professional picture framing. This includes Museum & Conservation glass; both with a 99% UV filter to protect the integrity of artwork. Reflection Control (non glare) and Acrylic (plexi glass) are options. We will suggest the appropriate glazing for your project.

How do I frame a canvas or needlework?
Most canvas and needlework is stretched over wooden bars (strainer) to create a stable surface. Then we can provide a proper frame design to support the work. Special floater frames are available for stretched canvas for a minimal look.

I know nothing about design or framing procedures. Can you help me?
Of course, that’s the advantage of bringing your artwork to a professional. An experienced picture framer offers you design and proper framing choices. Your input is crucial. And, believe it or not, you know what you like!
